Bushy Point Restoration

The Bushy Point Restoration Project is the Otatara Landcare Group’s main “hands on” activity.

In the year 2000 the Landcare Group negotiated a 30 year lease from the Department of Conservation over a 14 hectare piece of land accessed from the end of Bryson Road. It is public land and is open all year for visitors to enjoy. All work is voluntary and any help you can give is welcomed.
